Thanks for the great article. Leo and his henchmen are unelected players who have had an outsized influence on American governance and jurisprudence for so long the GOP thinks it’s normal. Unfortunately most Americans are unaware of what and how he, and they, influence their everyday lives, and are ignorant about how to fix it. It’s taken Leo about 40 years to get to where he is. My guess is it will take at least half of that time to undo the damage to democracy. If TFG is reelected I’m not comfortable that the damage will ever be rectified. Even Leo will be surprised when his carefully laid plans are burned in TFG’s fires of retribution. Nobody will be safe if the State ratified legal foundations of democracy are hollowed out, or unilaterally replaced, as TFG intends.
