The settings have nothing to do with "emerging intelligence."
What I was referring to was "Upon looking into my settings more carefully I now realize that early on I did answer a question within the "personalization" a setting that is a data input section that nearly all OpenAI users of ChatGPT have the option to fill in with personal information about themselves;
I decided to inform the LLM (Large Language Model) of two specific items to see if it might help both of us, for instance I am a near-profoundly deaf individual, and so as such it would be useless for the LLM to return any search results back for me that are Podcast centered;
for example the one question to which I allowed for myself to input data is framed as follows, "Anything else ChatGPT should know about you?" to which I supplied the following answer, (This was input when I first starting working with the LLM in 2023) "I do not use podcasts and am not interested in using them, do not include podcasts in results." (The following item was recently (March 2025) added in response to systemic problems that interfered with what we are trying to achieve and was discussed by both of us, me and the LLM) "Add also, that I do not use or rely on the BING search results and do not want to see any results derived from the Microsoft BING search systems."
Other than those two items, which are not Commands or Instructions, I have consciously chosen to ignore the system's user control options in order to experience genuinely unstructured responses; this has helped greatly in allowing what you have read above to occur naturally.
