A Supremely Ironic Situation

At this point in time given all available information that can be considered I foresee Vice President Kamala Harris sweeping through this election and securing the White House with a very comfortable margin; in fact I will even go on record and say that I will not be at all surprised if she wins a supermajority of votes which according to my simple formulation is as follows:
Congressional houses both in the Federal level and at the states’ levels generally adhere to 66.6% (2/3) of a total number of votes to constitute a supermajority2 With that in mind according to the Bipartisan Policy Center as of March 2024,
Roughly 244 million Americans will be eligible to vote in 2024. The 2020 election saw record turnout of 66.6% of eligible voters. If we see turnout that high again, more than 162 million ballots will be cast by November.3
The 2020 final election results as recorded show that at 51.31% of the popular vote President Biden won 81,283,501 votes to win the popular election which in turn secured him 306 electoral votes.4
From what I am reading in snippets here and there and just all around perceiving from all that I research is that the numbers are on track for exceeding the 2020 election turnout; so positing an increase of approximately 5% above 2020 numbers puts my turnout forecast at about 170,000,000 total voters based on this figure a winning supermajority number of votes for the 2024 election will be ~114,000,000, adjusting for my casual subjective deviation choice of 5% then establishes a supermajority range of 108 to 119 million votes.
This in turn should result in a supermajority electoral vote at ~360, as noted above President Biden’s final electoral count was well above the requisite 270 Congressional votes to secure a total of 306 electoral affirmations of the popular national vote. Naturally, if you are reading my newsletter then you will be well aware of the networks of ideological, monied, organized, professional interests spread out across America of which nearly every single element is a MAGA oriented cog in the White Christian Nationalist movement that seeks to convert America into a theocracy. So then shenanigans and a similar repeat of the 2020 post election landscape is expected in the fashion of meritless, time-wasting attempts to mire the election results in courtroom battles.
On that point I would like note that “the Electoral Count Reform Act, enacted in late 2022, updated certain dates and procedures in the electoral vote counting process that will be in effect for the first time in the 2024 election”5
Now to be perfectly clear Voting Day November 5 is the most important date we all currently are awaiting, with that in mind everyone, in the light of J6 Insurrection Day and the uncovering of the Trump Administration plot to falsify the electoral vote, should bear in mind that the election process is still not finished, as there are still six more events/deadlines to be fulfilled. The next important date after Voting Day is December 11 as explained by Michael Thorning with the Bipartisan Policy Center:
Certificate of Ascertainment of Appointment of Electors Issued: no later than December 11, 2024
Every presidential election year, the executive of each state issues a certificate of ascertainment, which names and appoints the individuals who will cast the state’s electoral votes for president and vice president. The certificates are treated as conclusive in Congress with respect to the determination of electors appointed, except in the event of judicial relief described below.6

I would like to take a moment to remind everyone that even after the inauguration of President-Elect Harris the MAGA White Christian nationalist movement will in all likelihood redouble their efforts to subvert the 2028 election; and while we will all certainly breath so much easier once Kamala Harris is in office the rampant corruption in our country will still need to be dealt with and former Prosecutor Harris will need all of us to help flush out the seditious individuals who are conspiring to steal our freedoms and who are hidden throughout our society if we are to make Justin Rosarios’ perspective quoted below a reality.
“Possible, even likely considering how desperate Republicans are. Remember, 2024 and 2028 are the last two elections for Republicans. It’s all over for them after this. They either “win” and end democracy or they they never hold power again.”7

Deadline for Electoral Votes to be Received: December 25, 2024
By the fourth Wednesday in December (December 25), officials in Washington, DC—the president of the Senate or the Archivist of the United States—should receive the certificates from each state. If not received, the president of the Senate or the Archivist shall request the chief election officer of the state(s) to send up the certificate that was retained in their state.8
