Brief Commentary about Conservative/Republican Think Tanks

The Heritage foundation is not the only right wing think tank that is making a bid for control of the federal government. The Texas Public Policy Foundation is also a friendly competitor with the same goals and general agenda (https://www.texaspolicy.com/). There is also the America First Policy Institute located in Virginia with the same active goals and agenda (https://americafirstpolicy.com/)

Ultimately Trump is, at this point in time serving as nothing more than the mast head of the evil ship named "Movement Conservatism." These groups and the individuals associated with them are perfectly content to work with any committed Republican who is intent on establishing an illiberal, Biblically based religion sociopolitical framework with which to drag our liberal democracy backwards in time.

Also many will have noted a new caucus that was cobbled together back during the first quarter of the year known as the "Main Street" Caucus. This group works closely with one of the think tanks that has joined the Heritage Foundation's Project 2025 as one of its Advisory Board member's, namely the "American Main Street Initiative" (https://www.americanmainstreet.org/about) in a similar vein as the "Freedom Caucus" which is a essentially a product of a Mark Meadows led think tank known as the "Conservative Partnership Institute" (https://www.cpi.org/) and as can be seen in the following news article is very busy setting up for expanded business in DC.

And perhaps most importantly of all is Leonard Leo's pet project the "Teneo Network" which is probably the most secretive and insidious of all the organizations that partners with Project 2025 as an advisory board member. (https://www.propublica.org/article/leonard-leo-teneo-videos-documents)

It’s been nearly two months since I last wrote anything here on Substack. At my last point of writing I was digging down into the “Advisory Board” members of Project 2025, albeit with the intention of attempting to write a regularly updated article. It only took another day or two of digging, reading, and searching around in the rabbit hole of Project 2025 to realize just how frighteningly vast and significantly dangerous to our country’s current political condition and status to realize how so truly endangered our liberal, genuinely democratically managed way of life has become, in the light of the determination of Republican Party members to revert America back to pre-Civil war thinking wherein white male patriarchy is the desired goal.

I had to stop reading and writing for awhile because it become truly overwhelming to read and discover the many cracks in our democracy and the dangers we all face from the scourge of Republicanism.

Now that the indictment news cycle has settled down somewhat it has become a better cycle in which to refocus on these things again.
